Your Long-Term Care Insurance Plan

Discounts

Employees, spouses, parents, parents-in-law, grandparents, grandparents-in-law and adult children receive a 5% premium discount.

Underwriting

Employees under age 66 working at least 30 hours per week hired after February 17, 2010 receive a ONE TIME opportunity to purchase coverage with Simplified Medical Underwriting. Medical questions are limited and you do not have to disclose your height, weight or medical prescriptions. Your medical records remain confidential.

Employees who were previously eligible are NOT eligible for Simplified Underwriting. Previously eligible employees, their spouses, employees over age 65, parents, parents-in-law, grandparents, grandparents-in-law and adult children are eligible for Modified Underwriting, which is more lenient than Full Underwriting.

Eligibility

Employees, spouses, parents, parents-in-law, grandparents, grandparents-in-law and adult children under age 85 are eligible to participate.

One on One Consultations

Long-term care planning is an individual process. After attending a workshop, schedule a time to work one-on-one with your benefit advisor. They will answer your questions and help you design a plan that fits your individual needs and budget. Your advisor is also available to work with eligible extended family members.
